I agree and said the SAME THING!!! I should have weighed it... But it looked about the size of our Lhasa Appaso at 20#!
BTW if you (anyone) dosent know thats a PMR 30 its a FULL sized gun. Its NO compact!!

2008. My first antelope. Oklahoma panhandle. 165 yds. T/C Encore 280 Ackley improved. Nosler 140 Accubond. I eased up over a rise and found this buck herding some does.

2011. My 2nd Oklahoma antelope. 287 yds. T/C Encore 30-280 Ackley Improved. Nosler 165 Accubond at 2734 FPS. This buck was herding 6 does, and it took me some time, but I finally got within a comfortable range for me. I held the crosshairs an estimated 2" over his shoulder and put the bullet on the point of his shoulder. He reared up and fell over.

one of about a dozen buffalo ive shot with handguns. this one was with one of my 4 inch 500 linebaughs. Small 800lb cow.

couple more a bit bigger. these were both shot with 475s. the larger one by my buddy Al. According to my records his went 1120 and mine 990. We used to shoot one or two a year for meat but it got to expensive. I probably should have taken more pictures but it got to be about routine and not worth the bother.

I would love to hunt these! I buy the meat every chance I have its one of my favorites! That's alot of meat in the freezer!!

used to be a good deal. Wed pay a buck a lb live weight to shoot them and about 200 bucks to have them butchred and rapped so we got all our steaks roasts and burger for less then about a 1.50 a lb. Problem is that two years ago for a reason i know cant remember they jumped to double in price overnight. being retired i just cant come up with 2k to go and shoot one anymore. Same with hogs. Used to charge us 200 bucks to shoot one which still wasnt a great deal if you were doing it just for meat but now there up to about 700 and i sure wont pay 700 bucks for 75 lbs of medicure pork.

I took this Klipspringer off a mountain top with a Thompson/Center Encore chambered in 460 S&W Magnum at a range of 180 yards. Just as I shot, it started to jump off a rock and the bullet took it through the hind legs. For those who say bigger isn't better, it's not so; it still died promptly.

Small buck I shot on public land in Oklahoma in 2010. Gun was my T/C Encore 30-06AI. Berger 168 VLD at 2650 FPS. Shot was at 41 yds. The Berger put him down.

1995. My first handgun deer. In fact, this small rag horn buck was my second deer ever (1st was bow).

I used a T/C Contender 7-30 Waters to take this one. Shot was 60 yds. I used the 7mm Sierra 130 SSP bullet at 2300 FPS. Dropped the 108# buck in his tracks.

A Black Wildebeest taken with a 357 Herrett. The range was pretty close; probably 35 yards. The bullet was a 158 gr. Hornady jacketed hollowpoint; either an XTP or an XTP Mag.

They were taken in South Africa; even counting air fare, it's cheaper to hunt there than in Texas.

The doe I shot with the TC encore .45 acp shot at 80 yards, loaded up with a 230gr hollow point at 1100fps. (.45 super data). The buck I shot at 40 yards with my Ruger SR1911. Using a 230gr hollow point at 850fps.

Many of mine are pre cell phones and I simply don't remember the camera for those woods pics. So many of my 80's animals got no pictures at all.

I killed my first handgun animal with a 1911 in 45 acp. Worked just fine, but was close at a calm animal totally unaware.

I have about a doz pis kills on Hi8 vide I need to have converted to digital.
