Rolling Block
« on: April 18, 2013, 12:11:26 AM »
I have a 7X57 Rolling Block that is a bit over a hundred years old. It is very accurate and fun to shoot. The last time I took it to the range I noticed some of the primers in the spent cartridges had holes in them. Just to be on the safe side I quit shooting the rifle.
Anybody know what the problem may be and how to fix it?

Probably an over large chamber.  The 7X57 RRBs have a reputation for that.
