If you look at the dates of recent discussions, you'll see they aren't recent, please refrain from responding to the old discussions unless it's something of interest that needs an update.

Please hang in there and don't give up on us as I am doing everything in my power and ability to restore the site.

The good part about the crash is the lost posts from a certain member of the frozen north casting aspersions on a thoughtful, kind, respectful.gentle person from Texas ;D

We have ordered a new server. It will ship out on Monday and hopefully be here on Wednesday. Matt will have to load everything onto it and then head to Atlanta to install it to replace the failing server there. For now we are operating entirely from our local servers here at Matt's house.

For now we've lost all data since last July but Matt is pretty sure that once he gets the hard drives from the Atlanta server in hand here he can restore pretty much all that data. At worst tho we've lost six months worth of posts but everything else is intact and we think those are still there and he will just need to work his magic to restore them.

Any links to FAQs discussions made in the last 8 months won't be valid, but any information added or linked to prior to 8 months ago will still be there, hopefully Matt will be able to recover the last 8 months of the database from the hard drive on the old server once he gets it in hand.
