They was tryin' a camaflaje the gun and left one guy to protect it from the injuns. But they had some of their best archers along on the raidin' party.

Awesome work there Jeff. I thought it was a shepperds crook safety rammer gone bad.
 
Victor3 had a pretty good answer, at least I thought it was.
 
Indygunworks, most spys would be hanging by the rope or just shot.
 
That dude must be a real idiot to use his body to stop a bunch of iron rods from getting to that giant magnet. Would if his buddy turned up the juice too much.

Zulu, I got lucky with Google. I tried a bunch of different variations of "rodman gun canvas cover" and that article popped up.


I thought about it all day and my theory was it was some sort of portable smoke box for firing the gun inside a monitor. That or a water tank for the little known fully automatic mode :D
