I like to shoot both trap and skeet. I guess to pick a "favorite", that would have to be skeet for me. Seems like I have more of a social time while shooting skeet, instead of the competetiveness of shooting trap.

I like the sporting clays game. For me it seems to offer more challange and I like the social aspect of walking along the course and talking about our favorite topic, guns.

I like to shoot skeet so much that I built my own field. I shoot in local leagues and registered shoots. You see, skeet and trap attract different kinds of people. In trap, 5 people line up and all shoot. In skeet one guy shoots and the other four stand around and talk! It is a great game that never gets old. I do shoot some trap targets, but can't seem to get myself to enjoy it. I love sporting clays but it is a little pricey. Shotgunner

I belong to a local trap club and have more than my share a
straight patches -- but compared to skeet, trap is boring...it's skeet for me!
just wish the game was located a little closer!!

I like sporting clays, skeet, and trap, in that order.  To me trap seems to be more of a one-trick-pony.   Sporting clays, and to a lesser extent skeet, makes me a better field shooter by allowing me to practice more realistic shots.  To those of you who have built your own skeet range, did you do it yourself?  What range of cost can someone expect for the houses and throwers?  Does the equipment require lots of upkeep?

Ive never done sporting clays. Out of the other 2 I do more trap.

Anyone know of any sporting clay ranges in west central or south west Ohio?
