7400-35 Whelen
« on: March 04, 2004, 06:01:56 PM »
On gunbroker.com, there is a Rem 7400 in 35 Whelen for sale. The rifle is a newer model because the picture shows the child proof safety on it. Does anyone know who did this rifle, or by chance, is anyone going to be doing a run of these? :?

Remington did a run of them a while back and yes on occassion you can find one. Should make a good grizz gun with a 18" barrel and a ghost ring site. :-)

I read that a company called grice wholesale is taking orders for a special run of 7600 rifles in 35 whelen and 35 remington(carbine) that is supose to be available by mid-year. I think they also have some black laminated stock 7600 rifles coming out in 25-06.

I have a 35 Rem carbine and a 35 Whelen in a 7600 already. The 7400 in 35 Whelen is the one that I haven't been able to find many of.

I think the 7400 in 35 Whelen was in the catolog a few years back. I will look and let you know if I find it.

I also have the 7600 35 Rem carbine from Grices. I also have the 7600 in 35 Whelen on layaway. $200 more to go. Funds tight after the holidays. I will also be looking for the 7400 in 35 Whelen in the future. MIKE.

I contacted Tom Grice within the last month pertaining to his ad on the Remington Website.  He has most of the latest special runs in stock because he is one of the ones responsible for the order and distribution of those.

I was going to put his e-mail address and phone number here but I don't think I should.  It wouldn't be fair to the advertisers.

I can share it with you but not in the public forums.
