Ukraine: Not Our Problem
« on: February 26, 2014, 07:50:56 AM »
Pat Buchanan says it correctly when he advises Obama to not get involved in the Ukraine.  Just like Syria, Obama needs to stay out of meddling in what's not our business.  It's the one world socialists like McCain who think we need to be involved in everybody's business, including binding the Ukraine to the ultra-liberal EU in opposition to Russia.  What's the U.S. interest?  Like the Middle East, not much.  We spent $6 Trillion mucking up that one.  We ended up with Iran and Iraq making deals with each other.  Do we want to see the U.S. doing the same in the Ukraine? There's no benefit to the U.S. with our involvement in Ukraine.  We need to pay attention to our own borders.

Study after study has shown how dangerous distracted driving is yet people continue to talk on their cell phones while driving. Driving in the U.S. requires your full attention. Many states and countries have made it illegal to use a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle and the federal government should follow their lead. Banning the use of cell phones while driving would have the added benefit of making the no-texting law enforceable.

The Olympics are done with. Vlad is back in Moscow and he is sending the Ukranians a message which they best take seriously.
