Local "news" talking of hurricane warnings
« on: August 26, 2021, 05:20:54 PM »
Well it's that time of the year
again. Not long until fall and
the weather getting funky in
spots. I'm hearing cautionary
tales of potential hurricanes
on the horizon
Hopefully, everybody in coastal
regions are gathering at least
some minimal gear to cope with
whatever is on the way.
Flashlights, spare batteries,
drinking water, spare clothing,
Decent socks and shoes, etc.
Keep the vehicles topped off
and serviced, maybe a can
or 3 of gasoline
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Too many folks wait until the day before it hits to think about getting supplies etc.

Yeah, saw that. Luckily it doesn't look like its gonna hit your area if it keeps tracking the way its projected.
But it ain't lookin good for New Orleans at all.

The weather is supposed to
be bad here as far as thunderstorms
etc. that spin off from the storm,
but no more severe than that.
I was talking to a friend earlier that
owns the camp where we fish in
Terrebonne parish.  The big mess
is supposed to go right over the
top of it. He was talking about
going to check on things later on
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
