Wind Proofing.
« on: December 05, 2019, 01:24:19 PM »
After this year and with all the damage these high winds have caused. We are going to look into doing
something different even if it isn't cosmetic. I know another member here who is "IN" NM and thinks
he knows everything about this state and me and my family don't? And he isn't even a native. Is going to
say "thats just the way it is here in SW NM,I came here in the 1950s."Well Duhh....We were born here.

But that isn't going to stop us from trying.

Going to put ground struts on all the fence post facing west. And beef up anything facing west.
That's always the direction of the worst comes out of. No matter what know it all says.
North, south, east don't cause near as much damage. Windsocks always say west or SW.
While they last.

Know it all, did you ever go to sitting bull falls before there was hardly even a road going in there?
Did you ever go on a Ranger guided tour with lanterns to the bottom of the Caverns. And have to
spend the night down there and come back out the next day? I have old pics my mother took.
Did you ever as a kid tour the trinity bomb site before it was closed off? We did.
We brought back green glass rocks from about a quarter mile away and took them to school for
show and tell.

Just for the record, I am not referring to Old and Slow. The other guy is just some jerk who post on the
hunting forums.

Well, thanks for clarifying that. I was wondering what I did to get you so upset.

The other guy said he had lived in NM for a long time and knew all about it. He didnt say where he lived now.
And it wasn't here where he said it. But he knew nothing about the oil field only what he had read.
And that's what started it, and it went from there.

You all know who he is. He once entertained you with all his personal attacks and name calling antics.
Which you enjoyed. Then he came back under a different name. Messaging me. I was referring to him
and I didn't want him migrating over here.
