Trump's appearance at March for Life meant 'everything' to marchers, Rachel Campos-Duffy says

President Trump told Fox Nation host Rachel Campos-Duffy that he became the first sitting U.S. president to attend and address the annual March for Life because he wanted to do what he 'feels is right.'

President Trump's decision to attend the 47th-annual March for Life in Washington D.C. on Friday "bodes well for him in 2020" with pro-life voters, Fox Nation host Rachel Campos-Duffy said Saturday.


Appearing on "Fox & Friends: Weekend" with hosts Griff Jenkins, Lisa Boothe, and Pete Hegseth, Campos-Duffy said the president's appearance meant "everything" to the pro-life marchers.

"They have been so ignored for so long on that march and here comes the president, really edifying them," she said.

Trump became the first sitting president to both attend and address the march. In 2018, he spoke to the crowd of 100,000 over a video message.



The president, who for years was pro-choice, has since embraced a pro-life position and made clear on Friday that he plans to continue that agenda as he seeks reelection in November.

In an interview backstage on Friday, he told Campos-Duffy that he recognized that the pro-life movement has been "under siege" for a long time.

"And, I said, 'You know, I'm in Washington. Maybe I will just -- instead of making a tape, I will go over,'" he said. "Now I didn't know this was going to be this big of a deal, but they have a lot of people out there. And, it turned out to be very successful. The most successful one by far."

'The fact that President Trump came here sent an incredibly strong message that he has not only been a great president, [but] maybe the most pro-life president ever in policy...the fact that he is standing here side-by-side with these tens of thousands of people..." Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., remarked backstage on Friday.

During his address, the president told an uproarious crowd that unborn children have "never had a stronger defender in the White House."

"Every life brings love into this world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting," he added.

The president also panned Democrats' stances on abortion as "extreme," accusing many of supporting "taxpayer-funded abortion all the way up until the moment of birth."

"I think the most important he says in that speech was he said 'they are coming after me because I'm fighting for you,'" Campos-Duffy remarked, noting that it was likely a reference to the impeachment trial in the Senate.

" I think he completely has their love and gratitude and joy [and] has their vote," she said. "When I looked at that crowd, I also realized he recruited an army of volunteers because -- again -- they felt so grateful that he acknowledged them in such a  bold move."

"It's never been done before," Campos-Duffy concluded

Well, aside from gabbard none of the dems care about the Country, and even she is far from a patriot.


I am of the opinion that the framers of this nation really did know what they were doing when they created it. They had seen oppression the likes that none of us can even fathom. They knew well what it was like to have a ruler, they also knew what it was like to not have their God given rights. They were willing to lay down their lives for the opportunity to be free men.


A Patriot is defined as follows: a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.


I would argue that an enemy is anyone actively wanting to do me or mine harm or take that which is mine and a detractor is someone who lobbies against me, or my rights and property.


So neither of these type of people will find my support. Every dem wants to take most of my rights to include my right to defend myself away, Every republican wants to curb my first amendment and some second amendment rights and they also have no problem trampling all over my Fourth amendment rights as well. So I am of the opinion that there are none of them even remotely close to a "Patriot" and for someone to call any of them such amazes me.


I will give just a few examples of where Trump has lost favor with me.


This is a quote straight out of his mouth: “Take the guns first, go through due process second,”


That is a violation of my Second and Fourth Amendment to do so. Strike 1

Here instead of making Mexico pay as he promised, he is willing to take Americans Property and use it to fund the wall. That is a violation of the Fourth Amendment. So Strike 2.


Donald Trump has signed three executive orders to deal with “public safety”, including handing more authority to the police.
This may seem like a good thing to some, but not to those of us who value Freedom and Liberty!


Lets not forget that he has also continued the ban on "Full Auto Weapons" and added "bump stocks" to it. That is a violation of my Second Amendment. Strike 3.


Trump has also threatened to intervene if states continue to allow vaccine exemptions.


His cabinet is full of deep state, Zionist warmongers!

He loves America and our military, and he isn't afraid to defend us and makes America first. CHARLIE. 

This too I think is a misconception. If it was true then would he not have ended all the wars as he said he would? Would we still have over 20 vets a day killing themselves? He does not make America first in my opinion, he does what the Israeli lobbyist want and I hate to say it but that is not what is best for America. Bring the Troops home, End Foreign Aid, and rebuild American infrastructure would be best for America, but he hasn't done that yet, now has he?


We are each entitled to our own opinion and I enjoy seeing differing ones so what say you?

Christians all over the USA prayed hard for a Christian Patriot to undo all of the PURE EVIL that osama and the evildems had done to America for 8 long years.
Election day looked really bad for America, all of the lying polls showed Hillary far out in front. She even started her victory celebration, I went to bed really sad.
