Nice thing about Television is, that you can change the channel or turn it off if and when there is something on that offends you. Depending on the teams playing, viewership of the Superbowl is approximately one outta three Americans. Apparently, a good portion of our country is not offended. In recent years, the advertisements run before, during and after, are often more regarded than the game itself. They can be inspiring, hilarious, motivating, or in some instances, offensive, depending on one's interests and priorities. Regardless, they are some of the most competitive and expensive to produce and air. For the most part they are directed at the majority of Americans, not small niche groups of narrow minded folks. Odds are, since I have no real preference to who wins this years game, I won't watch it. It and the accompanying commercials are just simple entertainment and I have other things to do, that at least this year, are more entertaining. Odds are, the commercials will be rebroadcast many more times after the game during the weeks and months to follow.
Just is what it is.
