Bill;
  A couple of days ago, I was out putting up a sattelite and thought of you.  I heard the distinct sound of honkers overhead and looked up to see a nice size flock headed straight for Traverse City.  I tried to warn them about you, but they must not have heard me. :lol:
For Sale: Old wore out trapper - rode hard, put up wet, high milage and earned every mile.

Local folklore from some of the farmers down in the White River area and across thru the marshes to the west has it that "there will be 3 more snows after the cranes get back and then it will be spring". I've been watching that for about 20 years now and it is really a fairly accurate saying. I just hope that rainstorm that's supposed to be blowing up for Monday from down south brings a few with it!!!!! :grin: Looking back at my calendars for the last few years usually they show up about this time in Feb if it has been a mild winter like the ones we had the last couple years, latest one is 3rd week of March. :(
