DEE, our Church is very small and there have been no reports of covid within 100 miles of here, we feel comfortable going without fear of contamination. Lou has closed a bunch of Churches, mega Churches too in Lou KY. Yes, there are a few local Churches that have closed, at least 1 went to a Bible study on FB. If you don't feel comfortable in Church, don't go. I can understand the bigger Churches closing, as of now, we aren't.  CHARLIE.

Our church is not gathering for services - Services are televised.

So everyone in your church has been tested, and is clear?
How do you know there aren't any unreported cases in your congregation, and your all being contaminated, and are spreading it farther and farther out?

I see it the same! They don't know for sure. There is no way they could know. What they should know is, there is a chance of someone being positive and infecting others. We have this  thing called the internet, that we can use to work and worship from home, and wait for the world to get back to normal.Or something close to it.

Went from NO religion allowed to a few sneaking in a religious post to full on personal attacks again. only difference is there bs and hatred is "RELOADED" You are right in one aspect. they are religious posts and not Christian posts or a Christian sight. funny thing is when someone here criticizes the catholic church that's ok but when I stand up and call them out on it that is confused hate?? Bottom line is no religious discussions are suppose to be allowed here and theres a couple that 90 percent of there posts here are religious. No question why more members haven't come here. Basically the group that came here is the group that caused all the trouble on the religious section of the other greybeard and have just brought there hate and Waco beliefs here. Most of them aren't the type to be confrontational over religion so they've been run off or walked away from the other fourm or are still there and just glad the few trouble makers have moved here. Maybe its time to know when to fold them. 9/10s of all the fighting on this fourm and the original one are sparked by religious differences. I see a good reason why others haven't came here. They check it out and see goodshots cult ramblings and powdermans endless links to some other guys opinions that nobody gives a dammed about. Sometimes 4 or 5 a day! Got to wonder how the same people would react if I posted on here every time the pope said something.  They must think this is a gathering case for the people of Jonestown or the moonys not a hunting and outdoors forum. Ive said it a 100 times. If they want to discuss religion theres all kinds of religion fourms on the internet. Forums where people actually do know the bible. Why come to a hunting and shooting forum to discuss it. That is unless you KNOW you could never hold your own with people that ACTUALLY KNOW THE BIBLE AND ARE ACTUALL CHRISTIANS! Not the hate filled Klansmen we have here.

I gave up on the other site as all it has is political and religious discussions.  I use to enjoy the old site when it was actually a site where guns and shooting were the discussions.  I figured I would come here as I thought it was going to be more like the original site  in the old days.  I have found out it is just going to be a continuation of the other site and I am just going to sign off.  It is as the old saying goes, "It only takes one rotten apple to spoil the barrel".

Stick around George! It will take some time to get things rolling again like it was. I am talking to the Adm's about some of the very problems you have mentioned and I think you will see less of the conflicts going forward. The political form is a popular forum and will help bring more members back to this site. I plan on moderating like we did originally. I will not let discussions get into Pizzing contests and flame wars. So do us a favor and don't give up on it.We need members like you regain the interest in the outdoor forums.
