Gee I wonder how girls who have been brutally raped, which is now usually reported simply as sexual assault, feel about some horrny young punk screwing a cougar being called rape. The word rape has now become meaningless.

The word has lost it's power, due to overuse by the left.

Late to this I know but my two cents: I understand how a man can rape a woman. What I can't understand is how a woman can rape a man. If he don't want to it can't happen. You have to get it---naw, better not go there but everyone knows what I mean. Personally I think the kid thought he had just died and gone to heaven and then adults found out and stepped in. If I had been on her jury they would have to have declared a deadlock.

To have had a relatively good looking woman (which she was) allow a youth to have sex with her is the wet dream of most young guys. He likely considered it the highlight of his life and might still feel that way.

He wasn't raped he willingly and happily participated. But if one person is an adult and the other an underage person it is legally called rape.

Frankly I do understand trying to protect youths from unwanted sexual encounters and agree with that. But when it's a boy doing it with a woman, I'm betting that 99.44% of the time (like the purity of Ivory soap) it ain't rape it's the boy's wet dream come true.

Now the underage girls with adult men. Let's talk about that guy who supposedly killed himself in prison, yeah right.

Those girls were paid and paid well for what they did. They weren't forced to do anything, they were paid whores and their age doesn't change the fact they were paid hundreds or thousands of dollars per sexual experience with this men.

They took the money willingly and knowingly and kept quiet about it for years. now this stupid "me too" thing is causing them to come forward and claim rape. They are paid whores and there just ain't no getting around it.

Well, there are promiscuous 12 and 13 year old girls out there,no doubt.  But I've professionally dealt with that same age group of girls that were tricked, and forced into the sex trade.

They are not the same, and never have been.
Not my personal opinion, but my experience in investigations of the two, and the prosecutions involving both.

In Epstein's case he seemed to want them from 14 to 17 years old. I'd not say those girls weren't tricked initially but from what I've read they were tricked by offering them money, lots of money. First to give him massages, yeah who knows just what kinda massages but I'd bet the more they did them the more was expected each time.

Palms were greased with lots of money each time and they came to like all that money. It isn't like he kidnapped them and held them against their will as sex slaves. They had plenty of chances to speak out but likely the money or so it seems from what I've read.

I sure won't disagree with your comments about girls being forced. I have no doubt that happens, likely often.

In this "me too" generation women who were grown women seeking acting careers were asked to perform sex acts in return for roles in shows. I've read that was pretty common even 50-60 or more years ago. Now those women seem to want to come forward and claim they were forced. I know women get raped daily all over the world but those women who voluntarily submitted for a role and kept doing it for years weren't raped.

To my knowledge I've never known a female of any age who was raped. I might have met some who just kept it quiet I suppose. I have no clue how common it is, I guess I just never ran in those circles to be aware of such.

Forcible rape is a death warrant crime as I see it, and primarily a male forcing an female.  However, there are teenage boys and girls who, particularly at this time, are promiscuous.

I suspect that each time we hear of a teacher having a continuing session as was LeTourneau, whether male or female teacher..it most often was consensual.  It HAD to be, or it would not have continued.

Even consensual...it is still a crime, since it is expected that juveniles have not yet reached the age where they can sensibly make such a choice. Such a crime is exacerbated if the older person is an authority figure, such as a teacher, preacher, cop, judge or a close to the family adult !

Such a crime is despicable, in any case !
