Proud of my grandson.
« on: July 12, 2020, 03:15:08 AM »
.
My grandson lives in a nearby town, a quaint small town with a renewed brick Main st.  That town has a "town square"..a grassy area with maple trees and set aside as a central public place in the center and on the main st of the town.

Today he is holding a parade and ceremony, celebrating the "brave in blue", to honor past an present LEOs.  Curiously, he started quietly, planning such a thing when the "town fathers' and the police dept .got wind of it and are all for it, so it will be held at noon..about 3 hours from now..after churches are out.

Word travels quickly in these small towns, and now the idea is quickly spreading, with other towns contacting him for a similar gathering !

About time..especially with the irrational animals our police sometimes have to deal with these days!

Two officers murdered last night , near McAllen TX.. When cornered, the coward/killer  'offed' himself.  Good riddance..he saved Texas some time and expense !

I am sure a moment of silence and likely a prayer will be held in their honor..

The idea is spreading...  He had a gift basket for each of the police and fire departments for nearby towns.

Stop and think, more police have been killed in the United States  this year, than tro0ps in Afghanistan !
As I see it now, they are heroes, alongside our troops..but they are fighting the enemy within.

We can all pray that America is beginning to wake up. Your Grandson is truly onto something here.
