Hi ! I have been here on the Graybeards forums since early 2007 but lived in NW OH and did most of my hunting , fishing and other outdoor adventures in OH but have done my share in MI as well and have just became a MI resident this spring.
I now live in SE MI in Lenawee Co. and only 30 minutes north of my former home in OH.
The area I live now is mostly large farm country with a lot of smaller wood lots and seems to be loaded with Gàme.
My home sits on a hill and we have a clear view of everything for at least a mile in all directions and enjoy seeing the deer , turkey, pheasants and other wildlife almost daily right from our home.
Although I have taken deer and plenty of small game and fish in MI before I am looking forward to finding a lot a new areas to hunt and fish starting soon !
I still can shoot guns in my yard but don’t have the room for bench rest shooting like I had at my former home but there is a small sportsman’s club only a mile from where I live now that I can shoot rifle, pistol and shoot trap.
Just thought I would chime in and say HI to you all and hope this forum regains it former glory and that a lot of new and many of the old members start posting what’s happening in their world.
