People sure seem ready to pony up for the 2021 Ford Bronco.

When the order books opened on the all-new truck on July 13, Ford offered a run of 3,500 specially equipped First Edition models priced at $60,800 and they were all spoken for within hours.

However, reservation holders were notified this week that Ford was doubling the run and reminded they are free to cancel their refundable reservations since the trucks would now be half as rare, affecting their future collectibility.

It looks like few, if any, did, because Ford has confirmed that the second batch of reservations is already sold out, which represents at least $212,800,000 in revenue when production begins next year if everyone converts their $100 deposit into a purchase. This isn't the first time Ford has changed production plans on a limited-edition model. In 2018, it announced it was increasing the number of $450,000 GT supercars it would build from 1,000 to 1,350.

But will there be a third for the Bronco First Edition? Unfortunately, for those who missed out, a company spokesman told Fox News Autos that this is a one-time increase due to the overwhelming demand.

If you took the Ford  logo off the grill , and had to guess , Id  swear it was a Toyoto .  You can find a lot more vehicle for 60.000 than  that .

I would say Land Rover which from which the idea for the Toyota came from, but then so did the idea for the original Bronco. 8)

I thought they were suppose to be a normal production thing for ford. Have to agree for 60k you can buy one decked out full sized pickup! even my wrangler which is a willys (one step down from a rubicon) was around 45k sticker. 40 out the door tax title ect. Ive seen 4 door rubicons go for under 50k. Everyone here knows my distain for jap cars but theres one thing id like to see come back. A retro landcruiser. Not the luxury pos they make now but the old tank. That was a rugged reliable unit. Id be Toyota could sell them like hotcakes with a modern v8 in them. Only thing they lacked was HP. But then everything did back then. I just hope these broncos are put together better then the first gen ones. They were very light duty in about every aspect and the serious off road trails were littered with them with broken axels, trannys ect. They were cool looking but more grocery getters for little old men then off road vehicles like a jeep or Landcruiser.
