A friends son decided to move to Albuquerque.

That only lasted a couple of weeks and he came running back home in a hurry. Second night there staying in a nice hotel, he was robbed at gun point. A few days later he came out of his room only to find a dead body
laying in the parking lot. With cops all around asking questions. Yeah, such a fine city.

Ooooh.. Is Albuquerque that bad ?  I have only visited New Mexico via interstate 10, Lordsburg (actually Steins)to El Paso.  have always thought I would like to go back for a more leisurely visit !
It may bring back sad memories, since the wife was along with me those many years ago, and we had a great time.  I would like to travel a bit more now, but doing so all alone, is not near as enjoyable.  Travel is about "sharing" along the way !
