Lake City Match ammo
« on: October 18, 2020, 02:38:35 AM »
Anyone here ever seen any LC match ammo loaded with soft point bullets?  I have 20 or so LC68 Match rounds and about half of them have soft point bullets.  All of them have red lacquer sealed primers and I don't see any signs that they're reloads...

Maybe? I've shot a ton of lake city ammo and I think I've shot some of their match. I think.

I have bought a lot of lake city match ammo in 308. It’s easy to pull the bullets and push in a soft point bullet. Or reload since the match ammo was not crimped in primer.

I reloaded a lot of it after I shot the full patch bullet out of it.

I was hoping it was a factory ammo so I could sell it but considering that it's probably not exactly that, I'll just hang onto it.  I have some LC65 ball ammo but not enough to bother listing on Gunbroker...
