There is no clear indication that people are "born to be homosexual", any more than they are born to be an arsonist, a serial killer or a person who cuts their self with razor blades.
Each may well have had an experience in life that led them that way..drugs, childhood sexual assault by a trusted adult, self hatred, or some other reason.
If the pope had said we must protect the homosexuals, and let it go like that, it would be understandable, since anyone with a mental deficiency should not be attacked for that reason alone. Now, if they are caught trying to corrupt a child or teenager, that would be a different problem.
So far as "civil unions", that is like placing a positive spin on bulimia, when what the person needs, is help !

Another thing, which I mentioned earlier..a misunderstanding that many have... that being that we are not all the "children of God"! We all are the creation of God, but not a child of God, unless we make a positive move to claim that position.

Ok, this pope is a bad pope, he certainly wouldn't be the first one. The church can toss a pope out, it's happened before. This is an outdoors fourm and some spend 3/4s of there time on here arguing politics and religion. Only part of that that should even be discussed on here is 2nd amemendement politics. Is exactly why ive said since the beginning that religion on here is poison! All it does is cause fights and make enemy's. but then i guess its a nessisary evil to keep this place alive because probably a 1/3 of the posts are these kind of hate fests and many here ONLY post on political and religion topics are at least 99 percent of your total posts.

Couple good reasons for that too. First you could NEVER hold your own on an actual christian sight where people actually know the bible. Youd be called out for being a phony the first day there. Second is the fact ive been here long enough to know that most of the ones in these battles arent avid hunters or shooters or handloaders and whos idea of outdoors is mowing the lawn. Probably been YEARS since you actually went hunting. bunch of bitter old men that are so full of hate they even have to use GOD and the BIBLE to justify it. That try to run off anyone that doesnt hate just like them! SAD!! The real question is WHY did you come here in the first place?? When i came here this fourm was about hunting shooting fishing and the outdoors. Everyone got along. Id bet bill would even attest to that.

Then came the poison. This forum became more about religion and politics then outdoors. Moderators were assigned to those forums and ran them like stalin! One of them right here in this thread! They were linched by others that organized gangs and had the moderators replaced by themselves that turned around and did the exact same thing. Finally it came to a point that Bill couldnt even have a moderator on them. he had to baby sit them himself. Now theres a great example of some Christian behavior. So they ran off everyone they didnt like or agree with. Some great ones like team nelson. So the section was eliminated and a new bible study section was started. Moderated by the same Gestapo that said it was his way or the highway and those same guys that were in his crew that attacked others had weeded it down to only them. So what did they do? Turn on each other! Why?? because there egos just wont allow for any beliefs but there own.

Now what happens. They post religion in the politics section pretending its news when in fact its just there way to twist things to attack what there afraid of. I can take about any topic about any church and find something on the internet thats bad. I showed you in this post when I found NEWS that showed other churches do the same. Didnt much matter though because you didnt even look because truth isnt what your looking for here. HATE is. Comical how that thread about baptists died a quick death and the catholic one is still going strong!! Bunch of scared little men play make believe on the internet! Satan already has his flock. Now you guys can take the gloves off and fight amongst yourselves again to see whos his #1. One things for dammed sure this post sure wasnt started as an news topic!!!!!! It was started to do EXACTLY what it did. Sad thing is even when Bill makes rules the haters here find a way to skirt them and hardly miss a beat.

what ive found out in life is its the big guys that are usually the easiest to take. They spent there lives relying on there size to scare off people and have rarely even needed to actually go toe to toe with someone and those 5'7" guys that call there bluff end up standing tall over them laying on the floor. Just for general info.. That is a well known phenomena.. It is called, the "Napoleon" complex, since many believe that Napoleon Bonaparte was driven by his diminutive size..

The same complex often drive a man to drive the biggest, fastest car or truck..and in some few cases, convinces him to acquire a big wife, apparently to make up for his own size challenge..

When someone says something about the catholic church it isn't an attack on you. Especially when all they are doing is talking about a story that's a big one in the national news at the time.
