Jackie Brown-when is that l/hed cane gun being completed?
« on: February 23, 2004, 10:33:08 AM »
Jackie, last September, you quoted me 60 days for completion of a lefthand flintlock 12ga canoe gun. You've got my $100 deposit.
It's now 5 months later,no gun,no deposit refund,only excuses.
Either complete the gun or refund the deposit NOW.

Do not quote me on this but have heard he is in a law suite over one of his smoothbore barrels that he makes. That it blew up have not heard if it was double loaded or what . Also heard the guy from early rustic arms makes his barrels out of the same material.

Don 't think he frequents this board so he probably won't get your message here.

Sorry, but I DID quote you. Spreading rumors on the internet is only too easy, and B.S. should be called whenever it's seen, or smelled. Mr. Brown has had delivery problems for a few years now, and as for the Early Rustic Arms barrels, they have been tested with 250 grs. of FFFg black powder and six patched round balls, so I don't think a double load is much of a problem.

Got the canoe gun.Haven't tried it out yet,but looks satisfactory.
He's got to get his communications, and delivery shedule in order.
It's hurt his customers, and I'm sure it hurts him.
