Is this the beginng of higher gas prices?  As Trump predicted would happen if Biden is elected.

Interesting article, citing the lack of a buyer for why they are shutting it down.  Also citing the long term plan of reducing their number of refineries from 14 to 6 in the next 4 years.  Shell is a successful company who does things to increase profits.  I wonder why they are shifting to alternatives from oil???  I wonder why no one else wants MORE refining capacity??

If you think oil is cheap now, wait till Hiden Biden shuts the economy down again over covid. IF HE WINS THE ELECTION.

The old fool has never been right on anything, and should he win, DEPRESSION is just around the corner.

The trucking industry, and the farming industry ALL run on desiel.

Tourist traps like Colorado will be the first to get hungry.

Presidents have little effect on the price of gas.

Gee that's funny, you must have a short memory because Democrats were absolutely blaming Bush for high gas prices when he was in office.

"Elect Democrats in November if you don't like these outrageous gas prices, if you feel that these oil companies have been given a free ride by the president and the vice president, vote for Democrats who will vote for changes in our energy policy. You've got a Democrat alternative, give us a chance"

Hillary Clinton 7/25/2006

"Had George Bush gotten his hands around this problem when he first took office the price would not be $3.00 a gallon but $2.00 a gallon or $1.80 a gallon or $1.50 a gallon"

Chuck Schumer 7/25/2006

"Years of Bush administration's policies that have favored big oil over the consumers have resulted in record dependence on foreign oil leaving American families and businesses to pay even higher prices"

Nancy Pelosi 5/8/2007

So two-blocked, are you trying to say that these 3 prominent Democrats were lying back then?

The 2006 gas price increase was not due to Bush

That one would use politician's complaints against the president  as proof of his responsibility is weak logic.

I am pleasantly surprised that you consider Clinton, Pelosi and Schumer to be authority figures.

So in other words you're admitting that Clinton, Pelosi and Schumer were lying. It's nice to see some honesty from you for a change.
