Oil can ID
« on: May 03, 2021, 03:22:35 PM »
Just came over from the old GBO so I know about picking the right topic.   I think this will be the best spot for this. It is surplus rifle related.  Found this on a junk table.  Is it Russian?  What rifle ,years ect. 30/06 for size. Thanks.

I believe that is a bottle for one
of the Nagant rifles.
I don't have one, so I can't say for
sure, but I've seen some sold together

I had an AK with a similar but slightly
different bottle
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Dunno about oil can but welcome aboard. I have seen oil cans similar at least at gun shows long ago, can't recall what they might have been with. Years ago some dealers had big boxes of oil cans all stacked in together.

Thanks. I know it is  oil because the zip lock bag it was in was full of oil. Has 2 chambers. It just looked cool. I like junk. Will use it for something. Just the right size for a field flask full of  "lube" for  those cold  duck blinds ;D   ------  I like the new format. I already know it from the NAA forum. Easy to use.  I love that we can edit or remove after we post our bad spelling or see how stupid it sounds.
