That’s according to a behavioral expert who analyzed the duchess’ linguistic affectations
A behavioral expert has assessed Meghan Markle’s linguistics in the trailer for her upcoming holiday podcast for Spotify and concluded that she has adopted the Queen’s rhetorical style and is shaping herself to sound more “presidential,” the Daily Mail reports.
When referring to Prince Harry, the expert noted, Meghan Markle uttered the phrase “my husband and I.” This evokes how the Queen refers to Prince Philip and herself and how Michelle Obama refers to the former president.
In a conversation with FEMAIL, Judi James said of Markle’s queenly efforts to sound presidential (or at least first lady–like), “Despite the fact that ‘just Harry’ has already introduced himself, Meghan switches to a regal-sounding formality when she then refers to “My husband and I…”

She utters this even though Harry is right next to her, lending her reference an air of regality that has a place in the Queen’s palace or the White House abode of the U.S. president.
‘This is a phrase famously used by the Queen and adds a royal air to their trailer.’

This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were adopting a new title: the king and queen of podcasts. Through their newly formed Archewell Audio, the couple will follow in the footsteps of the previous president and first lady in producing and participating in podcasts for Spotify.
Their debut will be a “holiday special” that “uplifts audiences around the world.”
Such an announcement, however, has led to a barrage of criticisms that Harry and Meghan are, in fact, the king and queen of vapid wokery and that, truly, they are the president and first lady of bland do-gooderism.

Never one to pass up a chance to eviscerate his public enemy number one, British TV personality Piers Morgan has trashed Meghan Markle, along with her husband, as “freeloading chancers” in the wake of their podcast announcement, the Daily Star reports.
On Tuesday, the popular streaming service released a trailer for Archewell Audio – but Piers was far from impressed.

“The one thing the world definitely needs right now is those two absurd ultra-woke freeloading chancers giving us yet more of their views on life from the sanctity of their $11 million Californian mansion,” Morgan wrote.
“As with everything the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to do these days, their new commercial venture appears to be driven by large dollops of narcissism, hypocrisy and greed.”
Morgan failed to note that Meghan and Harry have indicated that in lieu of payment for their work for Spotify, they’re asking the company to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
As 2020 draws to a tumultuous close, news has come in that Harry and Meghan have entered yet another presidential suite: They were the most tweeted about celebrities of the year, The Sun reports. Going forward, the king and queen of social media can likely expect to see further dashing of their expressed hopes for a “quiet life” away from the harsh spotlight of the UK press corps (as if there aren’t paparazzi in LA).
The runaway royals were officially the most tweeted about celebrities in 2020, royal biographer Omid Scobie revealed today citing data he claims to have exclusively obtained from Twitter. So despite a global pandemic raging, it seems Meghan and Harry’s controversial “Megxit” was what really sparked debate around the world. The news comes as Meghan was spotted wearing a Santa hat in a cheesy music video for a Christmas single.
