Shortage in your prescription
« on: January 19, 2021, 12:11:37 PM »
I learned some time back to
check my pill count when I pick
up my prescription medicine.
I picked up some today, and sure
as shootin I was short half of
the 60 pills I was due when I
counted them.
If you haven't been counting
your pills when you have a
prescription filled or refilled,
I would advise you to. I see
it possibly getting worse with
things the way they are
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I was taking a pill that had no generic at one time and they cost about $7.00 each.  You can bet your sweet axx I counted and only found a few times that the count was short  by 1 or 2 pills, but never had one pill over

I didn't used to count, but I came up
short a good while back on some of
those expensive ones, and started
counting regularly after each refill.
I'm sure the local wall grean's shorted
me on purpose. There were new
people there every month.
I haven't been shorted in a long
time, but I still check because they
get lazy and complacent. Most of
the time they've been giving me
those factory filled and sealed 30
count bottles, but the one pill is
a two-a-day and a month's worth
is sixty and they just weren't paying
attention to what they were doing
I'm sure. Hardly ever been short
with these new folks, but it'll happen
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I too have been shorted on meds. Look at the count on the btl, keep track of refills. I took one btl in and showed it to Robbie after just 3 weeks on a 60 ct btl. I told him I make up my wifes meds for her, I said do you think I dbl her dose? He said n o, what do you want me to do?? GIVE ME THE REST of my pills he did. Walgreens bought out rite aid, same people but terrible service. 2 other drugstores in town I've had even worse service. Another thing that ticks me off is they change suppliers to save a nickel. Patty has one prescription with 3 different pill shapes. CHARLIE.  >:( >:(

I finally had to get some of those
pill boxes from dollar tree and make
up daily doses to keep everything
straight. Them shorting me confused
me a couple of times and had me
thinking I was missing doses or
accidentally doubling up.
Personally, I think that walgeens is
the worst pharmacy as far as shorting
on pill count, and overcharging the
customers. I've used the 2 closest
ones in the area, and had nothing
but constant trouble from both, and
and pill shortages from both every
time.  I got to where I'd pick up inside
and go straight to one of the chairs and
count em right there .
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
