The bottom of my heart is dead, he did not say how much. My lungs are swelled and pushing on my heart stressing it a lot. There is nothing that can be done to reduce the swelling in my lungs. I assume they will keep swelling and finally stress my heart that I will have the final heart attack.
The good news is that my heart seems to be functioning well under pressure. Still get mild chest pains often, but have not taken a nitro for quite a while. Breathing is much worse, I have the oxygen set on three, instead of 2 at home and in the car. My smaller tank is on 2 because it only lasts an hour, for Church or shopping. The darn mask makes it even harder to breathe. The new ramp we got last summer is great, it helps me a lot. I can only stand for a few minutes because of the pain in my lower back and legs. I'm using my walker and cane so far. My nurse practioner comes every 4 weeks, sooner if necessary. I got rid of the weekly nurses. I'd sure like to know what the co they work for bills medicare, and what they get pd. That's all for now. No doubt in my mind that without all the prayers that I would have been dead a long time ago.
