Haven’t used Google in years. Consider it poor ground for conservatives. Promotes MSM narrative with dissenting opinions buried in search results. Like Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia etc, Google has embraced propaganda.

The aforementioned duck duck go search engine is a better choice IMO.

There is a choice / selection on your computer / phones internet browser for the default search engine. That’s the place to change it.

On some web sites google is the only browser they will allow. Most of those sites are far left anyway.

  I have used both, although I can see that Google 'strains" the information..  If you want more the truth promoted by conservatives, ..best use DuckDuckGo

   I guess to put it succinctly, DuckDuckGo is more balanced in it's treatment !

Good question. It’s sort of subtle. The internet browser may be something Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari and Opera.

The browser provides internet access. Got to have it. The type of browser is often dependent on the type of device or operating system. For example, the iPhone uses Safari as the browser.

On computers, one can change the browser as well. For example, if a computer is using Microsoft as a operating system, you can change the browser from IE to Firefox.

The search engine provides the ability to search the internet. Within a browser, (Safari, Firefox, Chrome etc) is a setting for the default search engine. Examples. Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo, NATE and Naver

I'm using google right now. I tried to use Safari but the site wanted me to login again. So sites do recognize Browsers. Especially Facebook, who kept sending me a message that it doesn't recognize the browser I was using. Which was Safari.

I use the Brave browser with Duckduckgo as the search engine. Google is creepy.

Yahoo is both a search engine and a browser. I used it for years until it became so liberal.
