Nope it's still there. When they changed to the new software they are now using they changed up the order of the forum sections. The section with Politics and PBSF and such in it is way, far down the list now. You have to really go searching to find it.
I dunno why they did that, perhaps they are trying to discourage use of those forums.
When we first sold the site to Tactical Republic they kept the same software we were using like this on here. Then they sold the site to Vertical Scope and they almost immediately changed software which hardly anyone liked and then they made yet another change that just totally ruined the site for me.
When they made that second software change they also changed up the order of the sections and put the most used forums way down the forums index list.
Here I try to keep the most used forums higher up on the forums index list.
My biggest concern here is that most discussion is not about guns, shooting, hunting and the like as it used to be when we started the other site. I keep trying to post topics to those forums but they seem to not get the attention that topics posted to the Politics and PBS forum get.
I don't do any hunting myself these days as I just can't walk the hills anymore. I don't do as much shooting as I used either but do pretty much always make a post talking about it when I do go out to the range.
Maybe more of the posters there would move here if I ask them to do so. I can't do that tho while taking money from them. As it stands as I write this it is my intention to write to them at the end of this month to tender my resignation. I thought I did that at the end of last year but they apparently didn't understand it to be that. This time I tend to make it real clear.
So come March I plan to begin contacting folks there to see if I can steer more of them to this site.
