I think he’s got it backwards. The republican party is self destructing. They left mainstream America, not the other way around..

In my opinion, Trump has the most clout in the Republican party. I'm gonna follow his lead, and see where it goes  for now.

If sane heads in the GOP win out, and get behind Trump, then I will stick with them. If not, I'm through with the Republican party.
It's pretty obvious they were pretty much finished as being a Conservative party before him. They did nothing to fight the socialist agenda prior to Trump. GW Bush, like his Father was a total failure as a conservative.They were all about the NWO. Starting wars, making promises they had no intention of acting on. Like protecting the 2nd amendment, and stopping the flow of illegals from Mexico and other third world countries.

Along comes Donald Trump, and wins against all odds, and they have joined the Democrats in delegitimizing him. There are some in the party that are sincere about Conservatism, and have stood by him, but far too many have not. If someone like Trump cannot save the GOP, then they aren't worth saving. Trump started a movement, and it will continue (I hope) with or without the GOP. If they don't get on board, I'm through with them.
