Current situation comedies
« on: February 22, 2021, 03:05:26 PM »
Television, big three networks broadcasting has bee nin the toilet for a long time but there is hope:
In the one titled Bob loves Abishola , Abishola's son agreed with Bob that Soccer is boring -- there is hope.

Between The Neighborhood and Bob loves Abishola, we are watch weekly programming on one of the networks for the first time in twenty years.

We watched Tough as Nails last year and it was pretty good and not pre-scripted bs like most so called reality shows, but this year it is more about touchy feely emotions than people over coming obstacles. (Two of the contestants have injuries handi-capping them from the get-go and one dude who is an import is on the verge of tears half of the time.)

Not much on the cathode ray reeducation
device that is of interest to me anymore
other than trying to sift through what they
present as " news "
Everything seems to me to try and show
injustices and social issues that are
more perceived than real and how "unfair "
life is in general.
Boo Hoo Hoo
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

We watch reality shows and Fox news, Newsmax, and OAN.
Occasionally local news for the weather spots.

Or our DVD movies.

The other half spent the bucks to get a Fire-Stick so she could watch Discovery Plus.
Now right now, it is only 5 dollars a month over the reg. cable price but  she has only watched it three or four times.
You can watch every HGTV show every made from the past fifteen years but I just cannot see paying even more over the cable bill.

The free long distance phone calling is one reason the cable bundle can be justified to a degree but the fact the phone does not work when the cable system is down makes me want to go back to local phone company at times.

We currently have the rabbit ears and the free streaming on roku. We pay 18.95 for spectrum and you'd be surprised at how many free channels. Of course there is commercials but no biggie.
