cabelas and leupold pricing
« on: March 09, 2004, 03:35:32 AM »
I couldn't get anywhere with cableas customer service.  Maybe someone here can shed some insight.   Why is cableas selling last years vari xIII and vx II scopes in the bargain cave for more money than the 2004  models vx II and the all new VX III?

Seems kind of strange to me.
Thanks,
Bruce

Aren't the new models less money anyway? That said, Cabela's can naturally price the way they choose.

Unless they've completely ruined the "all new 04" scopes I doubt people are going to pay more for the "old" 03 models...  I'd keep a watch for those old scopes to be marked down further in the near future to clear the inventory.

I didn't want the new model, I wanted the old model, so I didn't buy from Cabela's    pretty simple.
