It is my powder of choice.every thing about it is more consitant.Velocity, accuracy, grain sizing.LESS FOULING.Here is how it compares on average in my rifles (fouling)> with goex 5 shots until I HAVE to swab, elephant only 3,then get out the hammer .with Wano, TEN !! You will also notice, there is VERY LITTLE if ANY "dust" in every can.you will most likly notice an increase in velocity.I am sold on this stuff,I am using all my ele to just screw around with and my wano is for the serious stuff. It is nice when you are in a timed shoot to be able to get say four or more shots off when every one else is burning time swabbing and you are shooting!!! PM me with the price if you dont mind,I want to see how it compares to what I get it for.

:-D Crow Feather......Come on man.................cut me a LITTLE slack on this.  I also got some of thier Schutzen powder to play with.  Been so damn rotten around here for weather I have not had a chance to get to the range as of yet.  Probably wont for another week or so.  Actually..you might say Guano might also have something to do with is chemical makeup someplace.  At least tell me why you dont like it partner.  stay safe........King

:D Whitecloud.  I have not really had a chance to take a close look at it under a magnification lens.  I really dont care for Goex, but that, again is just my opinion.  I love the Swiss,in any of the granulations, and also use a lot of Elephant and find that it works very well in some of my BPCR applications.  Cant wait to shoot some,ANYTHING that goes BOOM at the present moment.  Major case of cabin fever ya  know...........stay safe.......King

King,
I havta admitt thet I ain't never heard of it before.  Is it a substitute or another black powder brand?  If it ain't Goex or sold at Wally World, it probably isn't in my part of Idaho yet.

Crow-feather, Wano is the holy black, made in Germany.  Like all the others, there are those who love it and those who hate it.  I've never used it, just read what folks have to say about it.

:D    hey all its been a while since was on this here site but I'm back, King  Wano is some good stuff it shoots real well, is the stuff you just go of last years production or this year? anyway was reading an article on another site that mentions that wanos powder sould be real good with this years production, seems the humidity has somthing to do with it since europe had a somwhat of a drought guess it helps in manufactureing, I don't know if its true or not but it works great, especially out of my smooties and rifle guns, the only rifle that hated it was my smith carbine, shot real eratick, but every thing else loved it, good luck and have a blast bringin on the smoke and newbies.

Well, if you're already sitting on a case, what diff does our opinion make? :-D

Just kiddin, don't get too irate.

BTW, is Wano the same as the Scheutzen that is starting to show up?  A local guy has the scheutzen and says it's good powder.

My favorite powder is Swiss but geez it's pricey.

KING,

update, my buddy got a new drop in from green mountain,50 cal/1 in 70.He sighted it in using elephant, very accurate,5 shots in one ragged hole at 50 /irons. he then used my wano, same load exactly, rflie shot dead center same groups but 1 1/2" higher.(more vel,I assume, had no chrony)
2nd test:
with elephant he had to swab after every three or could not load, with wano he could get 8 before it got to tight to load. I am convinced it is due to moer thourough combustion, which would justify less fouling and greater vel. let us know what happens with your test.

:-D   What I have discovered is that the least powerful powder is the Elephant.  Yes,it is dirty but also gives me some very consistant loads when used.  I also shot some Goex, but have just about give up on this brand as of late due to it being somewhat erattic in my guns.  I love the Swiss powder and found that I can get about 10 shots out of the rifles without having to clean them.  Accuracy does not seem to suffer from this.  I generally swab between shots at a target match so this is an interesting point to me.  The Wano,I have not shot as of yet, hoping to do so on this comming Monday for range time.  The Schutzen powder is manufactured by Wano and I also have some of that on hand.  Hope the weather holds out for some testing.  Great information so far from you guys.  Stay safe...King
