:? will a 10/22 mag reciver fit in a 10/22 lr stock or is it to long? fuzzy

Thanks lawdog i had a extra stock was thinging of doing a 17hmr, but didn`t want to buy a mag reciver if it won`t fit, maybe git one of those light bull barrel`s be easy to carry fuzzy
