223 Ultra light barrel

I have an Ultra in 450 Marlin and am wondering if the 223 light weight barrel will fit the forarm on the Ultra. Just wondering about the contour of the barrel.  Zeak

Zeak,
  The contour shouln't be a problem, but the lightweight barrels don't have a great reputation for accuracy. I'd go with one of the other three .223 barrels available. The standard Handi barrel, the heavy Handi barrel, or the Ultra-Varmint 24" barrel.

Thanks for the info. I heard the same thing about the light barrel,so will go with one of the others.  Zeak
