Of all the forums I go to, this is always the first one.  I have learned more here in the last few months than I have in the past 35 years without a computer and forums.  It is in fact the best, most professionally run site I have had the pleasure of visiting,.... period.  Thanks GB and Matt for a job well done, and thanks to a bunch of really good guys and one or two old sore heads. :wink:  :wink:  :D

gbo is the best firearm-specific site (handi/nef/h&r) i have read, period.

Hey GB, now that the reviewing process is done when do we get our checks? Were my accolades good enough? Kudos to Brett for getting quoted with that "tight ship" routine, he should get 2 checks!!!  I wish I had said it!!! Now that your a legend for running such a great site can we H&R/NEF washashores still hang around and play? And by the way how close are we to the top of the food chain in #'s of posts and activity? I know we are far and above the others in quality, I was merely wondering about quantity.... :-D

Seriously GB, This is the best site going and you deserve all you get for your efforts, and Mrs. GB and Matt, I'm not forgetting you either, thanks for everything,....from the bottom of my "Grinch-like" heart!!....<><.... :-D

P.S. - And by the way don't give me any of that "the checks in the mail" crap either, I've burnt with that one before... :-D   ( is there any wonder why we love it here!!!)

I have to say in all honesty... I love this place.  Ever since I joined I've learned alot about NEF Handis specifically, but I picked up some other tips here and there.  Everyone associated with this site has been extremely helpful whenever I have questions.  I'd recommend this place to anyone who even thinks about hunting or shooting.

I realize I'm jumping in here late, but:::::::: This is by far my favorite firearms forum, and I belong to 8 total.
 What makes this forum click is the relationships that have been developed over the past two years. No pretense here! It is better than TV by a long shot! What I have learned from this single forum (NEF centerfire) has allowed me to learn more about reloading, shooting, and communicating, than any school could for the same price! :wink:

Only been here 5 days,have had much good info given to me by fine sportsmen. This is the best website of this nature I have found. It must be the people and the leaders.Hats off!

sorry i came in late on this but i have to say thanks to all who have helped answer my questions , you amazed the fella i work with by giving so many answers so quickly. i told him , you have a question , this is the place. by the way he will be a new handi owner as soon as the tax check comes in !!!

Until I read the above comment I had not picked up that you were the one who clued him to come here Mac. Thanks. Altho in honestly I suspect his site will get more hits from GBO than vice versa but that too is OK.


Thanks to you guys and all the other GBO members this is one active place here. We're delivering over 4 million page views per week. Ya know lots of sites brag when they reach one million visits? Well we deliver over 4 million views per week. We're now running around 50,000 visits per week also. So those 50,000 folks sure at looking at a lot of pages while here.

And as you can see from the new stats added the NEF/H&R Centerfire Forum is getting almost as much traffic as the next two below it combined. You guys are one active bunch.

Hi guys, it's me again, I want to correct a misunderstanding I had which was corrected by Mac, the big man he is. Mac in his humble way has stated that Redbuzz was already interested in reviewing this site and had posted an inquiry regarding doing just that. Mac then (as I understand it) took the initative and replied to Redbuzz by e-mail link and invited him to come and do the review. In all his glorious humility Mac wants us to know he was not solely responsible for initiating the review. Actions, humility and honesty like that are what make Mac such a great forum member and an outstanding Moderator (and person). Atta boy Mac, I for one am still proud of you, our Moderator "1st Class!!!"....<><.... :grin:

Wow, MSP I didn't even recall making that statement so I had to do a search of it.  Finally found it in a completely different string pertaining to computer troubles and spyware...
