Anybody using/used a skunk sleeper?

I've seen the videos of
these where they used
these and they didn't spray 
I was just wondering if
they're just showing the
successes, or if it's really
100% successful and would
be a useful tool to have.
I've never been able to put
a bullet in one and it not
spray.  Got one Sunday and
it's still in my nose

I'm assuming you're live trappin'em?
I occasionally get a skunk in my live traps set for feral cats.
I ease up on the blind side of the trap and easy the whole trap into a black trash bag.
Put Peppy, trap and all in the back of the pickup for that ride to the train station.
I then set the trap out pointing in the direction I want him to go , clip the door open, and step back. Peppy usually takes his time on the exit, and ole John Browning punches his train ticket.
In over 50 years, this has worked every time with no mishaps.

I only water trapped for coon, muskrats, and occasional mink.

And, I have no idea what kind of contraption you’re talking about.

I think its a syringe on the end of a pole, I suppose with some chemical in it.
I've seen that method used with acetone as the chemical.

There's several devices that are used
to euthanize skunks with idea being
that you can hit em with it and they
won't spray. It's a doodad that fits on
a pole ( like a long painter's pole you
screw a roller handle onto for painting
high up from the floor) and it's more
or less a hypodermic that you inject
acetone in the skunk. There's videos
on yoofloob of them using it and the
skunk doesn't freak out, just gradually
slumps down dead ( on the videos
ive seen)
A good many of the trapping supply
places carry one or two types

I have used one. I epoxied a syringe plunger onto the plastic threaded end of extendable aluminum paint pole.
Loaded it up with acetone  and injected ole Peppy with it.
It works, but I use live traps and getting the skunk into position was a hassle.
