People these days don't use their
brains anymore.
Lots of pets snatched by every manner
of predators everyday.
Lady across the way keeps food out
for strays 24/7 and it draws every
kind of varmint around.
I can't begin to count the possums I've
caught right out back.
The car flattened cats I've scooped
up would number greatly also

I'm doing a major remodel on the house I just bought and watched 2 tom cats go at it on my front porch this morning.
After that, the loser went across the street and craped in the neighbors flower bed, while the winner took a crap in mine by the front steps.
When I get the remodel done, and moved in, I'll get'em both.

Yep, you set the trap in a nice "inconspicuous place" and then clandestinely load the trap containing the trespasser in your pickup,  and take'em for a ride to the train station.
You don't even tell your bestest  friend that you even own a cat trap.
Coyotes musta got'em.

In the early eighties we lived in a condo with a bad cat problem, so I bought a trap, a supply of sardines, and set the trap on our enclosed patio.
That night, my beautiful wife (in her early 20s) came downstairs with a very revealing outfit on, and asked "do you like what you see??"
I said yes yes yes yes yes yes, and she said, if you ever want to see it again, you won't kill those cats.
So, I chose areas that seemed to have a shortage of cats, mostly the airport, and gave them some.

My ole Jack Russell "Huff" hated cats. Killed every one he could catch.

84 pound Plott hound. He sleeps on the porch with one eye open. If a cat makes it to the driveway he'll have 'em by the property stake.

  Jerry Clower said he is most uncomfortable with the little fluffy dogs.  He tries to walk quietly past the porch where the big dogs are sleeping...but then that little dog comes out yapping.  that wakes the big dogs up..and they bite you leg off !

I had a Boston Terrorist years ago, I had to shovel feverishly at night to dispose of the cats he caught. I understand that "domestic" cats originated in Egypt. I would like to send them back. I always feel that if a person has a pet, they need to take care of it. It is much safer for the pet to be confined instead of turned loose. For the record, Butch was always in his fenced yard, the cats entered at their peril.

Terriers love to kill. My dad brought his jack russell fishing with us once and before I caught him he had most of the pan fish in pieces that were in the 5 gallon bucket and he was going back for more...
