I got more grief from middle class, and well off white women than blacks back in the day.

I pay your salary! (heres your 3 cents back)

Are you trying to get your quota? (no, they told me I could write as many as I wanted)

I'll get your job! (I hope you like it better than I do. I keep meeting people like you).

Do you know who I am? (Yes, it's on your license, now sign it again right here)

Do you know who my husband is? (No, but keep yelling  and I'll meet him when he bonds you out of jail)

Good one's. Dee. It has been my observation over the years that if you tend to obey the laws fairly closely you will never have to deal with with a cop.

I have a ritual. I have my license registration and proof of insurance ready so the cop need not ask. Window down with my hands where he can see them. I calmly tell him I have a permit and that I’m carrying. After questioning I try to discuss something other than the reason for the stop, after all there just another person out of uniform? I admit guilt and don’t b.s. him. 9 out of 10 times, no ticket even though I deserved one...

Friend of mine got pulled over  by a Trooper , asked him why he was pulled over when  he was going the same speed as the other traffic ?  Trooper replied ,When you go fishing, do you catch every fish in the lake ?

I was rushing home from my construction job to pack and head to deer camp one November. I was guilty of speeding but just wanted to get going. I told the officer I was just flowing with traffic not watching my speed. I just wanted to get home and he sensed it. He kept me in that squad for 30 minutes talking about hunting, the lake by my house, you name it. Finally he handed me a warning and said "be careful out there, that traffic you were flowing with should be catching us pretty soon." Sometimes the ticket doesn't involve dollars to make you pay. ;D
