My brother in law was on the 3 wave that landed on Normandy he died this past Thursday night he was 95 he was with Patton's third army went all the way to Hitlers  home and never got a scratch. A good friend of mine went over to the celebration but for some reason they decided it was to dangerous and would not let him jump.
