TRUE with almost ALL reloading components. Primers are scarce as hens teeth. CHARLIE. I've use pwdr and primers over 30 years and they still GO BOOM.

Wondering what the deal was, I checked this powder out and was surprised how versatile it is.

IMR 4064 covers a lot of cartridge's I shoot and excels in a few. I'm getting low on Varget, and while 4064 is not the most accurate for the cartridges I shoot, it keeps them in the 10 ring.

3031 is very versatile too. I haven't tried any new powders in 25-30 years, no need to. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D

I'm working on using up a 3# keg of WW-230 that I "lost" for around 20 years. It became obselete sometime in the '70's I believe. I even have a few primers left from that time frame. Both still work just as well as when new. It's going to take some time to use the powder up in light 9mm, 38 special, and 45 acp loads but I"m working on it. I have done little shooting this year. It just isn't fun to me in 20 mph and up winds and that is mostly what we have been stuck with all year.

Yup 3031 is one of my "go to" powders. Now if they would make it in a "short cut" version it would be great. Those long kernels meter hard.

It and most stick powders throw pretty well in Lee Perfect Powder measure. I always throw short and trickle up for accuracy loads. Plinking it will throw close enough.

I picked up a Lyman Brass Smith powder measure last year and it does pretty well with the sticks also.
The Lyman really shines with ball and flake powders, all I use now for ball and flake.
