I recently picked up a nice Taurus 357, but quickly discovered it shoots a foot low and left at twenty yards. Sights are fixed, not adjustable. So it's going back to the factory, now here's the question I have: Is Taurus likely to replace the barrel to correct the alignment, or just replace the gun? Personally, I'd rather have a three inch barrel than the four that's on it. I have talked to their Customer Service Department, but no one there will tell me if they will do this, and they don't take phone calls in the actual repair center. A new 3" barrel is only about $40.00, but the gun is useless as is, except as a belly gun, which isn't what I bought it for. Whaddy'all think?
