« on: August 12, 2021, 10:12:22 AM »
when all else helps fails get some advice from the members on the forum.
I have been clearing out a lot of brush and things from my fence rows around my house and here in Oklahoma we have a lot of Sumac and I seem to have picked up a very bad case on my arm. I have tried most all the over counter stuff that I have had good luck with in the past but does not seem to be working now. My go to was Ivi dry but it is not working now any advice fellows.

"ZANFEL" You can get it at Walmart. About 40 bucks for a tube. Stops the itch right now, and kills the oils immediately.
It will pretty much dry it up overnight.

Yup Zanfel is as good as it gets to deal with poison when ya get it.

We too have loads of sumac here and I hear some folks are allergic to it but I'm not, never have been. Now poison oak, poison ivy or cowitch will break me out if I just walk by within 10' of it. OK maybe it really has to touch me.

But in spite of that sumac has never bothered me. I do have a daughter in law who is allergic.

I used a product called Ivy Rest last time I got infected and it seemed to work almost as good as Zanfel.
