im looking at buying one of these guns and was wondering what everyone thinks of them i dont mind pumping it im just wondering if they are reliable and accurate thanks in advance

Depends on what you are going to use it for. Overall, very good rifles. I have several Benj/Sheridans, and Crosmans, including a S392. They do everything I want them to do. Good one to start with or add to your collection.   Buddy

mainly small game hunting cant use 22 rimfire in residential area so im looking for a quality airgun thanks for your advise

You can sometimes find dealers with factory rebuilds at half cost.

The recent rebuilds are real pieces of crap.  They used to be OK.  I bought a rebuild several years ago that was beautiful and well done.  Not so with the ones I've seen lately.  Spend the extra money and buy a new one.

CJ. 392 should work well, try DNRSPORTS.com (D&RSports), good prices. They may even have a Crosman or other brand you may prefer. I would buy new or a used one from a friend, but not remanufactured. Buddy

They're accurate and powerful but a little on the loud side when compared to a spring-powered gun.  Best to get it in .22 caliber.

thanks for the advice everyone i did buy the 392 new and so far im pretty happy with it just put a scope on it and it shoots quite well looking forward to do some hunting with it
