Driving into high water AGAIN
« on: June 07, 2021, 05:18:33 PM »
Several times a year here, the
"news " people have to get on the
air and warn everybody to absolutely
do not drive into places where
water is over the roadway, and
people still ignore the warnings
and drive off into floodwaters.
Vehicles are irreparably damaged
at best, people are swept away
and drowned at the worst, sometimes
lost and not recovered.

The city officials here have had to
convert this closest fire station to
all water rescue equipment and
personnel for the time being since
most of the pig headed stubborn
idiots that take chances seem to be
on this side of town.

There's even been some grumbling
that at least one incidence of driving
into high water was the fault of the
officials since there weren't any
barricades in place blocking off the
roadway from travel
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Yeah and why do those people put those deer crossings in the worst spots? I mean, if they would just move them to more visible areas there would be a lot less deer/vehicle accidents...

Let nature take it's course; being stupid should hurt.
