« on: February 18, 2004, 04:00:27 PM »
I need some help trapping a couple of raccoons that are driving me crazy with the trash.  What type of set should I use and what type # trap.  I have some #3's I think that I used on Bobcats when you used to be able to do thatv in CA.  Thaks in advance.

you should try a bucket set with 220 coniber, if accidental catches are a problem, try the bucket set on a post up off of the ground, so dogs can't get in, i don't worry about cats, if they're hungry enough for the trash, they'd probably go in the bucket

#3s are way to big for coon.I also would go with a cage trap.Or coon cuffs. Are you still living in ca.?
