going nuts
« on: July 20, 2021, 07:55:29 AM »
week ago today had a hip replacement. Im just to the point i can walk with only a cane. Add to that the real snafu is that two days before surgery i had an epileptic seizure. Had two about 4 years ago and though they had it under control. So right now im sitting around watching others finishing up the new house. Cant drive to go shooting. Cant drive to play in the challenger. Cant do much of anything. Sure thankful for family and friends though. I sure am blessed. Sure glad i sold my boat when i did. It would be about useless this summer.

Hope you heal up quick!  My uncle had both hips replaced about 10 years ago, said he should have done it sooner...

had the other hip done 3 years ago and the right ankle replaced a year before that. Add to that 5 back surgerys sprinkled in. out of all of them the hips are hands down the easiest. Not a cake walk but i threw away the narcotics after two days. You are right though. Its something thats silly to put off. They dont heal themselves and only get worse. Im actually in much less pain today then i was the day before surgery.
