I really don't understand all these entertainer that are far left but so are a lot of actors and actress's. They can really entertain but instead of doing what they do best they get off on politics. Just look at the number that stop what they do best and enter politics.

I used to tell my kids when they were growing up to "don't believe your own bs".

Actors are better at pretending than me. Therefore, they're smarter than me.
Singers are better singers than me. Therefore they're smarter me.
Professional ball players are better ball players than me. Therefore, they're smarter than me.

I have more true life experience, and common sense experiences than they. Therefore, I'm smarter than the whole bunch.  ;D

I will have to agree with you on that but the problem today is that they have no common sense it is just not common place any more. Those of us Americans that came through the great depression know how to think and use our brain to get things done. Those of us who put our lives on hold and on the line know what war is all about. We know how to use left over meals, we know how to fix broken things. we know how to make do with what we have, all they know is hand them their credit card to take care of their wonts not needs. spend 4 years going to collage and listening to a far left teacher and partying and come out with a Hugh debt and still dumb as can be. I did not wont to downgrade the Ox
We need to get back to some music and put politics back on the other forum.

Sorry Deacon. I can’t listen to brucey either. As soon as a song of his hits my radio I change the station. I immediately think of what an unamerican traitor he is when I here him... Also. He has no talent and is Highly overrated.

Away back, when I was a young DI, we had our own music...of a sort.  Made the dismounted drill or endurance march a bit lighter.

There's music in those troops!  The words have in most cases, have changed over the last few decades, but I can recall marching troops to the one that kicks off section #2 of the video.."your mama was home when you left"..etc.

Watching some of the clips, I can see that cadence calling has become even more musical than before. (5 min vid)

We marched to the eyes of Texas are upon you. for our eight weeks of very basic training we marched every where we went. As I remember we did more marching training than any thing else. Our combat training was about 6 hours on the rifle range and 2 hours on poison gas training. Once on KP duty, how to make your bed and store your clothes in a foot locker. 3 hours on night guard duty with a tent stake as your weapon. We were well trained and ready for combat when we hit Korea :D :D :D We did have the army guys and a bunch of marines' to help guard the base thank God.

Blackwatch Scum....Helped the British 'Cleanse' the Highlands...

The name Black (for their dark tartan) watch (formed to 'watch' the highlands)  actually the 42nd regt.

They were formed to watch the restless highlands.  ..But actually they were on the continent when the clearances took place in 1745.
Not that they were super guys, because they were formed from the Clans Campbell, Grant, Munro and Fraser, who were more loyal to the king than Scotland.. and the record of the Campbells treachery with the MacDonalds at Glen Coe...is nasty.
