Dear William,

I have exciting news.

Today, a panel of judges from the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a pro-gun ruling that could expand the gun rights of millions of young adults.

As you know, federal law currently bars law-abiding Americans between the ages of 18-20 from purchasing a handgun.

But in today’s decision, a panel of judges declared this federal ban on handgun ownership by young adults to be unconstitutional.

This is exciting news for any lover of the Second Amendment!

As you and I know, the Founding Fathers did not include age limits within the Bill of Rights.

But under current law, 18-20 year old single mothers, and young Americans who take the oath of enlistment to defend our great nation are PROHIBITED from owning the most effective means to defend themselves and their families.

William, while I am excited at the implications of this ruling -- which is common sense for anyone with half a brain -- I’m afraid there is still much work to be done to see the young adult gun ban struck down for good.

You see, the fight is now in the hands of the Federal Government, which will likely decide to appeal this decision to the full Fourth Circuit Court.

And from there, the legal process may see this case all the way to the Supreme Court.

But you can rest assured that your National Foundation for Gun Rights is keeping a very close eye on this case. Please stay tuned for further updates on this critical legal battle!

And please consider chipping in $10 or more today to help the National Foundation for Gun Rights fight to restore gun rights!

P.S. Today a pro-gun ruling was issued by a panel of judges from the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In their decision, the panel decided that the federal ban on purchasing a handgun for adults under the age of 21 was unconstitutional.

This fight is now in the hands of the Federal Government, who will likely decide to appeal this ruling.

But you can rest assured that your National Foundation for Gun Rights is keeping a very close eye on this case. Please stay tuned for further updates on this critical legal battle!

good for them.,Should be a fed law. Used to not care for FLorida but anymore its one of the leaders of our fight. Its insanity that i guy can go into the army or even be subject to the draft but some idiot thinks there not mature enough to buy a handgun. Most often it someone who never served and would piss himself in combat that pushes those insane laws. That and have a secret service detachment guarding them and there familys.

Perhaps a high court should review the meaning of "Shall not be infringed" is, but on the other hand, that could be very dangerous to all of our liberties, since judges in general have not demonstrated any more allegiance to the Constitution than criminals have adherence to law abidance.

the socialists are eating crow right now. NO gun legislation is even talked about because over half the guns sold are sold to women and minoritys. Buddy and i both noticed something. We buy quite a few handguns and it seemed about half the time the nix check would get delayed. We found that if we take the wife along and have them put it in there name we NEVER get delayed. Id bet its because if some women or black got shot and there family found out they couldnt get there gun that day crap would hit the fan. Told him that maybe a guy if alone should put black in the race check. After all they say man started in africa. But me? ill just take the wife.
