Bushnell Scopechief vs Trophy.
« on: March 04, 2004, 05:15:48 AM »
I am wondering how these two scopes compare. I have the chance to buy either for 80$ and 84$. Also, does anyone know what the eye relief and FOV @100yds are on the 3-9x 40mm scopechief?

The scope chiefs is a better scope. It is fully multi coated and and is definetly brighter than the trophy. the eye relief is 3.5 inches it weighs 16 oz and overall length is 11.5 inches. The scope chiefs were replaced by the Bushnell legend with has almost the same optics they just wanted a new look.

I have two Trophys and I like them but if the Scope Chief is the same as a Legend then the choice is a no brainer.  Scope Chief all the way...

Well you are right. I just got my scopechief in and it seems to be really bright and clear and just the right amount of eye relief. Hopefully I will have a chance to try it out this weekend.  :-D
