  For some reason, I am getting many posts and threads from 2012 through 2014 showing up.  I came upon this post of yours from 2013;

   " My son in law was moving some snow in his yard with his bulldozer and had some pretty big banks plowed up and the kids thought it would be fun to play on them. He didnt know they were up on them and was plowing along side of one and the girl fell and slid down the bank and her had got into the idler on the track and was crushed. They had to medivac her by plane to milwaukee Wis. last night to a trama center. Her hand was crushed and there were mulitble bones sticking out. Daughter went with her on the plane and called about 2 am and said she was just going into surgury and it would take 6-8 hours and the doctors figured it was about a 60/40 chance of saving her had so any prayer that you guys can muster would be GREATLY appreciated. She a real good kid and it would crush me if she lost her hand! I know this is way off topic but figure maybe Bill will let it slide for the years ive moderated for him."

she does fine. Her had is scared and a bit weaker but she still does more tom boy stuff then most girls. She is lucky in that she is about gorgeous so the boys sure dont run because of her hand. Only real problem she had is she wanted to join the Air Force last spring when she graduated and they wouldnt let her because of her hand. Didnt even give her the a chance at passing the physical which she could have easily done. No sympathy though from me because  she didnt want to join to bad as i told her to talk to the army and marine recruiters and she didnt bother. She met a boy from down state that just inherited a farm. Shes right at home there being a very hard worker and shes even thinking about going to school to be a veterinarian. But i fear this boy means more to her then running off to college.

   Glad to see her doing well, but sorry she couldn't follow her dream into the Air force.

  That is one thing that gripes me ! Here is a young lady, willing and able to serve, but they turn her down because of a past injury, that she seems to have successfully overcome.

  Then the same military are forced to accept such things as trans-sexuals, who will require costly, regular treatments for every month they will spend in uniform.  Such moves only make sense to a twisted leftist !

My next to oldest brother was turned down by the Army and National Guard because he stuttered.
After watching his grief and anger, I can understand how your G-daughter had frustration and maybe some anger with the military.

  The Democrat run military  boils down to;

  Formerly injured hand..."you're out"   You stutter.."you're out"!

     On the other hand.. Homosexuals... boys becoming girls...girls becoming boys.. and those who don't know
 
  what the &^#% they are;...."COME ON IN!"

  Incidentally..stuttering can be cured.. those with screwed up brains and surgically hacked up bodies can't be !

This is kinda off topic: My brother spent most of his adult years looking for a cure.
He even spent a week at the Mayo Clinic.  Nothing seemed to work.
But about 20 years ago a doctor put a tiny metronome in his ear and it was like JESUS had laid hands on him.
He can talk perfect now and he charges it at night.
Sadly our Mom passed away right before that and didn’t get to hear him talk.
